MAKING DOG-HUMAN COMPARISONS

THEY STARE AT US:

Dogs are the only animals that are not primates and that stare into the eyes of humans. This eye contact occurs only between dogs and humans, not between canines themselves.

WE ARE CONSIDERED PART OF THEIR FAMILY:

Dogs can distinguish and remember the scent of their owners in a positive way, just like babies do with their parents.

DOGS UNDERSTAND SOME GESTURES LIKE WHEN WE POINT:

They are able to understand when humans point to something, even if they don't recognize it, they will go looking for it.

DOG BRAINS REACT TO HUMAN VOICES:

The brains of dogs and humans react the same way to laughter, crying, screaming and other natural sounds. This makes the dogs feel more affinity and are in tune with the feelings of their own owners.
